Drawings – June 2009

A selection of new drawings.

Happy pills with happy thoughts. Printed in size 3 font and hand-cut drawings applied to happy pills. Dimensions variable.

Waiting for the happiness individually typed in size 5 font and printed on fax roll. As such the dimensions are variable with a fixed width of  21 cm and a maximum length of 69 cm. There are four columns in the full piece featuring approximately 624 ‘I’m waiting for the happiness’ repetitions. As of yet I haven’t been able to take a decent image of the full length of the piece hanging on a wall so that you can see the natural ‘roll’ of the paper at the end, but it looks pretty nice. You’ll just have to trust me on this one.
